I wanted to create something specifically for that represent love and that can also be worn throughout the year. I’m a huge fan of combining gemstones and pearls; the contrast can be so amazing. This necklace took much more time than I expected to complete. I definitely have a newfound appreciation for all the pearl jewelers out there. The time it takes to select each pearl and to create individual knots between them so they don’t collide is astonishing. In the end, it came out beautifully and is something I am proud of.
This necklace is 18 inches long with 18k gold-plated accessories. It features a push clasp and two adorable yet subtle hearts that emphasize the beautiful lab-created rubies. I handpicked each pearl for this necklace and hand-knotted between each one with silk thread. While I have other methods of stringing, I wanted this necklace to have that classic, delicate feel.
Care Instructions:
• Avoid Moisture: Do not get this necklace wet, as water can weaken the silk thread and affect its integrity. 
• Apply Cosmetics First: Put on your pearls after applying makeup, perfume, and hairspray to prevent exposure to chemicals that can damage their luster. 
• Regular Cleaning: Gently wipe the pearls with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove oils and residue. 
• Proper Storage: Store the necklace flat in a soft pouch or a lined jewelry box to prevent scratches and avoid stretching the silk thread. 
• Periodic Restringing: Over time, the silk thread may weaken or stretch. It’s advisable to have your necklace restrung every one to two years, depending on usage, to maintain its durability.
